Measure stick drift & recentre

Click “Calibrate centre” and let go of the sticks — the tool finds the exact rest position and shows the deviation (drift) as a percentage. That tells you whether the camera or character moves on its own, and compensates for the offset in software.

Deadzones & full range

With “Measure range” you sweep both sticks fully once so the tool records the maximum travel needed for full in-game speed. The deadzone slider hides tiny, unwanted movements around the centre.

Adjust trigger sensitivity

The analog triggers L2/R2 (LT/RT) are shown with their raw and adjusted values. The sensitivity curve lets you set how finely, for example, accelerating in racing games responds.

Software calibration — how to use the values

The browser reads the controller via the Gamepad API and computes the calibration in software; your settings are stored locally. Writing directly to controller firmware is not possible in the browser, but you can apply the deadzone and curve values in Steam Input or your games.
